JPMorgan Chase Corporate Marketing - Senior Analyst/Associate, Strategy in New York, New York

The Corporate Marketing team is responsible for branding, content, advertising and strategy for JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPMC) and oversees the J.P. Morgan (JPM) brand. The team supports various functions and all of the JPMC digital and social channels (chase.com, jpmorganchase.com, jpmorgan.com, and JPMC LinkedIn and JPMC Facebook pages).

As a key member of the growing content and brand team, the Strategy Analyst/Associate will play a key role helping us develop the strategy around important firm wide initiatives. In particular, the role will focus on supporting the firm’s efforts around diverse segments. The person in this role will work closely with executives who oversee these initiatives and help them develop strategy, carve out a unique market position, and measure progress. This position will be filled by a candidate with exceptional drive and energy, who has solid analytical and strategic skills, and strong verbal and written communications skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help develop and refine strategies in support of firm’s women, black leaders and small business efforts. This includes gathering, analyzing, and presenting data, and developing recommendations.

  • Help identify key performance indicators, and measure and report on the effectiveness of our strategies

  • Create presentations and concise communication materials to articulate strategic direction and execution for internal and external audiences, including messaging (internal and external) as well as editing/reviewing communication materials and creative assets.

  • Monitor trends in the market and from key competitors, and share insightful reports, analyses, and news articles with broader team and with senior executives.

  • Partner with colleagues across JPMC who are leading these firm wide initiatives (e.g., Business Banking, JPMC Foundation, HR, Diversity, Women on the Move) and represent group as needed on cross-LOB teams

  • Help identify and assess partnership opportunities outside of the bank

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in consulting, banking, strategy development or other similar role

  • Demonstrated high level of performance, evidenced through annual reviews and recommendations

  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership

  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, gather and analyze data, obtain consensus and implement change

  • Well-developed organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities. Must be self-directed, proactive, high energy, detail and results-oriented

  • Understanding of business drivers and ability to produce accurate analyses

  • Strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to synthesize “the story” for executive-level audiences and adjust messages and style based on different audiences and agendas

  • Ability to collaborate with team members across business and staff areas at all levels, and achieve goals without direct control over all resources
