The Corporate Responsibility (CR) Division is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm's CR agenda by crafting goals, policies and initiatives that align with and support the firm's business strategies, reflect our values and support the communities where we do business. The Division includes Global Philanthropy, Global Government Relations and Public Policy, the JPMorgan Chase Institute and Sustainable Finance.

By focusing on four key areas we are working to address barriers to economic opportunity, test and pilot solutions, and advance systems-level change.

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Associate to provide support to the Cities team in executing all work related to the firm’s investments in cities. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assist in preparation of materials and documents the firm’s Cities work, including: talking points and briefings, presentations, meeting materials, and correspondence

  • Centrally track grant making and metrics across JPMC’s investment in cities, and coordinate quarterly reporting with support from local teams

  • Provide project management, execution, and logistics support for events and executive site visits

  • Help coordinate a best practice collaboration for cities, including preparing materials and documents

  • Assist in managing communications and marketing materials for the firm’s work in cities, including for internal and external advisory councils

  • Engage in consistent internal communications including launch and event briefings and recaps to highlight the initiative’s activity

  • Maintain and develop internal and external distribution lists

  • Oversee contributions and operations budget for Cities team

  • Collaborate with Cities Director and team to develop weekly meeting agendas, create minutes, track action items, and manage team calendar

  • Take on special projects as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of total relevant experience, preferable with some experience in economic development, philanthropy, or corporate responsibility

  • Extremely detail-oriented and deadline driven

  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and time-management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Ability to independently manage projects and solve problems

  • Proven to have a strong work ethic and be a team player

  • Able to exercise good judgment and proven to have impeccable integrity

  • Powerpoint and Excel experience preferred
