JPMorgan Chase Digital Project Execution - Release Coordinator in New York, New York
The Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Digital IT team is responsible for setting and executing strategies that align with business objectives and drive innovation across Chase Online and Mobile, helping to establish the best Digital banking customer experience in the industry. Within this fast-paced, high-talent IT organization, the Digital Release Coordination organization is the primary point of contact for event releases, annually, 4 of which are coordinated across the CCB business.
The Digital Release Coordination team is seeking an autonomous, motivated release coordinator with a strong background in project management. The Release Coordination team will provide high quality release governance and process solutions that address the growing delivery needs of our business. They create and manage dashboards; weekly/monthly reporting that will improve the productivity of the Delivery Management teams. The Coordinator will support the team on activities such as data collection from many different Tribes/Programs across the Digital organization. The Coordinator will also represent Digital in CCB wide governance on the coordinated releases. In order to maximize effectiveness, the Coordinator will need to have strong communication skills as they will work closely with other groups, both within and outside of Digital IT and across numerous business and technology teams.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Release Coordination, Meeting Facilitation, Risk and Issue Management
Creation, preparation and distribution of weekly Project Management Reporting Weekly Reporting Packet.
Coordination of efforts across all Project Managers within Digital technology
Maintaining consistency between the baseline scope and estimate by following an agreed and documented change control process and attending the end-to-end change control board.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience &/or specialized training in Business Administration, Finance or other quantitative field.
Demonstrated and strong experience in information technology with an emphasis on project management and release coordination
Knowledge of the CA Clarity PPM Tool and knowledge of Atlassian, JIRA, and Confluence preferred
Knowledge of agile methodologies/management ideals by facilitating exercises such as sprint planning and team leading stand-ups.
Proficient knowledge of the standard desktop applications including MS Excel 2013(including macros, pivot tables, embedded queries, functions and charts), MS Power Point 2013, Work 2013, and MS Project 2013.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior management and an ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely.
Experience with management reporting, performance analysis techniques and project/process management and improvement.
Ability to collect and analyze data, summarize finding and make recommendations.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize work efforts and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Independent logical problem solver, analytical ability to synthesize data
