JPMorgan Chase Executive Director, Affordable Lending Strategy in New York, New York
Home Lending has expanded its presence in the affordable lending segment in order to make home ownership available to as many customers as are qualified to take advantage of it. With this objective, an organization is currently focused on overseeing the sustainable business model for this segment.
This role is responsible for executing against the strategy, developing innovative insights and overseeing the design of the affordable lending business, including assessment of the market opportunity and design of Chase’s service model. The role will report to the Head of Community Reinvestment & Community Partnerships and Affordable Lending and requires extensive interactions with senior leaders and other partners across multiple functions in Home Lending (e.g., Channel leads, Product, Risk, Marketing, Finance).
Responsibilities will include:
Own analytics on market opportunity and customer segmentation
Gather and analyze complex data to evaluate Chase’s performance at channel and market level
Develop views and insights on competitive offerings and assessment of Chase’s current position
Sustain Chase’s value proposition (e.g., product, pricing) in the affordable segment
· Partner with channel leaders and operations executives as well as cross-functional teams to drive progress
Lead optimization of potential actions and innovations across channels to meet affordable lending objectives
Develop communication materials to senior management
Directly manage a team
4-year college degree required; advanced degree desirable
Leadership track record to drive change in a large organization
Strong problem solving and exceptional analytical abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Process re-design and project management experience
Ability to multi task – given interactions with multiple teams
10+ years’ experience in banking, preferably in mortgage, strategy, analytics and finance roles
