Chase is seeking an experienced technologist and product manager to lead and define the digital product experience for Chase Mobile covering all chase business segments and journeys.
In this role, the candidate will define Chase’s digital vision, strategy and roadmap for Chase business mobile using their expertise in mobile user experience, product development and design, grounded in their history of supporting successful product releases. The ideal candidate understands the mobile & digital landscape, is an avid user of digital applications, thought leader in the mobile-first experience including intent based and conversational UI, design thinking mindset and is familiar with the opportunities and challenges of e- and m-commerce. Understanding and experience of large executions, the product development lifecycle & agile delivery is a critical component of the role. Ideal candidate will have a very customer centric approach on new products and services they build and design.
The desired candidate will accomplish this by partnering with other business, design and engineering teams to build coalition around the product roadmap, ultimately to develop a unified customer experience, drive business objectives forward and keep Chase on the forefront of the rapidly-changing technology landscape.
The successful candidate is outcome-focused and has a management style that fosters teamwork. He or she will provide leadership and management oversight to deliver best in class business mobile experience.
Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for emerging digital technologies. In addition to being a seasoned, well trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.
Engage closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define a roadmap for Chase Business Mobile that meets business needs, while meeting critical deadlines and budget constraints;
Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives;
Track and analyze metrics compared to industry benchmarks, publish reports on product performance, trends and risks/opportunities for both short and long term;
Understand, manage, and communicate prioritization of features, with a mind toward user and business benefits and tradeoffs. Identify market opportunities and define product strategy to reflect those;
Manage cross-impacted initiatives and stakeholder communications to ensure business needs are met. Set and manage expectations through effective written and oral communications;
Define product initiatives for new features and optimizations of existing ones, and incorporate them into product roadmaps;
Take a lead role in designing and executing soft launches, collaborating with design, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to drive new product initiatives;
Define new product and feature business cases working collaboratively with business and engineering teams across Chase to ensure a unified product landscape;
Build and present end to end executive product updates inclusive of current production metrics, KPIs, new feature delivery planning and financial forecasting;
Support teams that track and manage business case metrics and financial planning models ensuring that product delivery stays on track and on budget;
6+ years of product and tech management in mobile delivering iOS apps that are 4.5 star or higher rating;
Experience in building apps and responsive web with mobile first design and design thinking and development is must.
Building vision and strategy for mobile
Expertise in defining and building out product roadmap and business models;
Thorough understanding of financial modeling, forecasting and tracking as it relates to product delivery;
Experience with bringing together cross functional teams and leading execution in an agile delivery model; Execution is key
Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view and build coalition
Strategic thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills;
Proven track record of delivery and new product feature creation;
Ability to prioritize projects and efforts according to business need and industry trends;
Highly self-motivated and ability to remain calm under intense pressure
BS or MS in Engineering or Technology; Business Management a plus;
Experience with agile product development, continuous integration philosophies, experimentation mindset and practices for speed to market is required
