The Global Real Estate (GRE) team consists of more than 400 employees, executing 13,000 capital projects per year globally totalling nearly $2 billion a year in design, construction and capital investment.
Candidate must possess strong managerial skills and be familiar with all phases of Real Estate Demolition activities, including, but not limited to; the planning, scheduling, procurement of construction vendors, conflict resolution, cost negotiations, project implementation, oversight and project close-out.
Candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the Demolition team during the course of the Project throughout the planning, programming, engineering and demolition of the existing improvements located at 270 Park in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner. Candidate will oversee the demolition activities to insure that the performance of the work is done in accordance with established standards, contractual agreements, and as expeditiously and economically as possible.
Candidate must be able to communicate with Senior Management and associates at all levels.
Deep knowledge of construction industry and managing large scale projects for high profile clients such as JPMC
Experience working with industry-leading consultants, construction and demolition managers, subcontractors, vendors, etc. and ability to work with them to deliver high quality results
Knowledge of best-in-class practices to manage the demolition activities
Manages and organizes demolition workload distribution among project team to ensure project deadlines are being met
Ensures competitive pricing on all contracts through the use of JPM sourcing and following policy on bidding guidelines
Responsible for coordinating vendor management to ensure proper coverage
Operational risk assessment for highly technical activities
Technical support for building infrastructure
Exceptional time management skills and the ability and presence of mind to escalate issues when required
Identifies the need for supplemental resources when needed to achieve project goals
Manages and directs overall demolition team activities and monitors progress
Must be responsive and an effective communicator to all GRE partners including, but not limited to, GTI, Central Planning, Finance, LOB executives, Sourcing, Monitoring, Corporate Insurance Services, and Legal.

Ability to motivate teams to produce best results
Bachelors or Master’s Degree, with preference for Construction, Engineering, Architecture or Business
15+ years of work experience, working in Real Estate or Project Management preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong ability to work with clients at all levels of the organization
Self-starter who delivers exceptional project management and manages teams to this standard
Strong proficiency in compiling and presenting written project correspondence to executive leadership
Experience and knowledge of business processes and procedures, applications, workflow, and planning
Must possess strong conflict management, communication, organizational and negotiating skills
Detailed knowledge of business services and systems and implementing corporate policies
