Organization:

The CIB Operations Transformation Program is a strategic, organization-wide initiative to leverage existing innovative activities and implement programs to achieve large scale change. The program is focused on improving efficiency, scalability and operational leverage across CIB Operations by executing a coordinated, cross-LOB transformation strategy through five pillars: Digital Transformation Coordination, LOB Specific Transformation, Cross-Organizational Transformation, Industry Collaboration and Program Management. The team has a global footprint that supports coverage on engagements.

Role Description:

The candidate joining our group will be expected to lead high-impact strategic initiatives with senior leadership visibility. The programs will typically be in the Cross Organizational Transformation pillar, where you will be required to identify opportunities for large impact transformation using a data driven approach and lead a program that will deliver on a target state vision to increase operational efficiency. You will be asked to lead work streams/projects across the CIB lines of business from assessment through articulation of recommendations and execution.

The role and responsibilities of Vice President/Executive Director within the Operations Transformation Program will include the following:

  • Lead cross organizational transformation process re-engineering reviews, focusing on business levers that impact cost base, simplification of operating models, and standardizing or consolidating key activities

  • Lead stakeholder engagement, strategy development and formulation of business hypotheses

  • Identify innovative solutions by leverage emerging technologies to solve complex business problems

  • Apply change management approaches and methodologies to drive change to operating models, standardization of technologies and streamline operational processes

  • Partner with representatives from across the organization including Business, Finance, Operations and Technology groups, as well as potentially working with external partners (e.g., vendors, industry groups, etc)

  • Serve as a key leader in building and maintaining global relationships with stakeholder groups

  • Review and develop impact analysis of technology delivery and process improvements in order to drive operational efficiencies

  • Influence direction using relevant data analysis, lead and deliver key aspects of implementation across the CIB

  • Interview senior stakeholders and document detailed understanding of business functions and process flows

  • Perform detailed data analysis, identify opportunities and obtain stakeholder buy-in, develop implementation plans

  • Seek opportunities to improve client experiences and establish market utilities
