JPMorgan Chase Strategy Manager - Integrated Payments Strategy - VP in New York, New York

The Integrated Payments Strategy Group has been established to build a long-term and firm-wide integrated payments strategy that creates distinctive positioning and economics for our Firm.

The Strategy Manager will be a key member of a team that will support the development of the integrated payments strategy. In partnership with the Firm’s lines of business, the manager will independently oversee creation of key components of the aforementioned strategy, ensuring these support an enterprise-wide approach for managing payments, and provide a cohesive Chase customer experience. In addition, a key responsibility will focus on actively adjusting the payments strategy to reflect emerging developments.

Key Qualifications to be considered for this role:

  • Strategy experience including consistent interactions with Senior Business leaders

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy development or other similar role with a financial services focus

  • Deep understanding of global payments opportunities, within retail or wholesale payments, that will inform how to effectively set the enterprise-wide payments strategy, prioritize strategic initiatives and shape partnerships with technology innovators and industry groups

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills required, including the ability to synthesize “the story” for executive-level audiences and adjust messages and style based on different audiences and agendas

  • Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, working effectively in a matrix organization

  • Strong sense of prioritization and execution against critical deliverables, coupled with a sense of personal ownership for key projects / issue resolution

  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership

  • Expertise in innovation & the ability to think strategically about how to advance business-led solutions

  • Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools; SAS, SQL and other analytic tools also valued
