JPMorgan Chase Treasury Services - Business Transformation Group - Associate / Vice President in New York, New York
The CIB Treasury Services (TS) Business Transformation Group is a strategic and execution focused group that works closely with the teams selling the firm’s TS products: TS Sales, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Consumer & Community Banking, Chase Merchant Services and Commercial Card. The group also supports TS business and staff areas on a project basis, addressing topics at the top of senior management agendas. Projects are typically team-based and include heavy interaction and collaboration with senior executives both within TS and across the Firm. The group reports to the Head of CIB TS.
The key responsibilities of the group include:
Establishing strong firmwide partnerships with theCommercial Bank, Chase Merchant Services, and Commercial Cards;
Developing a strategy that refines cross-LOB sales andoperating models and identifies opportunities to drive ourcommercialization and international growth; and
Overseeing the governance of client coverage and investmentprioritization.
We are seeking a Vice President to join the group in defining business growth strategies, leading strategic initiatives across wholesale payments businesses, solving complex problems and execution issues critical to the TS business firmwide. The position represents an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain a comprehensive understanding of the TS business and the broader firmwide wholesale payments businesses, hone problem solving, communications and leadership skills, and advance to other roles in the TS or across the firm.

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills – andability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like way, andachieve goals without direct control over resources
Strong ability to lead complex projects and workeffectively with xLOB key stakeholders
Strong end-to-end problem solving skills, e.g.,
Defining and deconstructing problems
Prioritizing issues, analysis, and team capacity
Structuring and building quantitative andqualitative/conceptual analyses
Performing competitor/industry research leveragingboth public and non-public sources
Identifying implications and “so whats” of data andanalysis with the team
Contributing to concise communication materialsfor senior management
5+ years of experience in wholesalebanking; understanding of the TS business a plus
An outstanding ability to analyzeproblems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively andconfidently (both oral and written)
Distinctive problem solving skills,such as experience with a top management consulting firm. Financial InstitutionsGroup (FIG) experience preferred
Ability to influence across businesslines, cultures and various functions
Strong project and processmanagement skills
Openness to an environment of activedevelopmental feedback from peers
Excellent and efficient skills usingMS Excel and PowerPoint
