JPMorgan Chase VP Strategy Manager - Business Banking Business Transformation in New York, New York
The Business Transformation team supports the incubation and execution of strategic initiatives across JPMorgan Chase’s Business Banking group. Business Banking (BB) supports over 2.4 million small business customers with revenues up to $20 million annually.
The Business Transformation team is seeking talented candidates for a Vice President Strategy Manager to lead innovation and simplification initiatives for small business clients. The candidate will be responsible for a process improvement project creating a digital lending experience for small business customers. The project is focused on simplifying and improving the end to end lending experience for customers, including application, underwriting, booking, and servicing. Successful candidates will have experience leading process improvement and strategy execution projects. The role will lead a cross-organization project with key stakeholders including Digital, Product, and Risk. Experience with digital transformation and small business lending is a plus.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Partnering with cross functional teams (Digital, Product, Risk, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to create a simplified digital customer experience for small business loans
Developing a phased roadmap to digitally transform the small business lending experience – application, underwriting, booking, and servicing
Experience executing and implementing a phased multi-year project
Providing thought leadership for rapid prototyping of changes for broader market launch
Determining integration points with existing business products / processes for similar offerings
Managing partner engagement and communicating updates to senior management and key stakeholders
Coaching and development junior members on the team
Diverse problem solving and process improvement experience, including with a top management consulting firm, or in internal process improvement or strategy groups
Prior experience in financial services industry preferred; digital process improvement or strategy experience preferred; minimum 8 years of relevant experience
Ability to analyze problems, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in a cross-functional organization
Track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, strong work ethic, achieving challenging goals, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly dynamic environment
Must have excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA degree preferred
