The WM Brand Experience team sits within marketing and its goal is to drive business results by establishing meaning in J.P. Morgan as a wealth manager and bringing experiences to life in creative and meaningful ways for target audiences.

Position Summary

The selected candidate will be a brand marketing veteran who has successfully led client-insight led and metrics-driven 360 campaigns and activation programs for financial services and prestige / luxury / service-oriented brands from social to environments and advertising. They will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of and have practical experience with both brand management and strategy (including architecture, positioning, messaging) and market research and analytics to drive insight and define measurement goals. They will have 10+ years experience in building programs designed to engage customers in meaningful ways and deliver on business goals. Experience in the development of unique and innovative brand experiences is required. A deep understanding of UHNW and HNW markets is a plus.

A proven customer-orientation is a requirement for the position where they will be responsible for leading the activation efforts of creative agencies and be a key contributor into building the strategic brand direction for J.P. Morgan as a wealth manager. This person and team is responsible for building meaningful and resonate brand experiences to drive acquisition and deepening efforts. Initial focus will be J.P. Morgan Private Bank and will likely expand to other businesses within the Wealth Management portfolio of businesses.


  • Build first strategically-led, measurable activation plan for Wealth Management, with a focus on the J.P. Morgan Private Bank offerings for HNW audiences.

  • Bring insight and lead development of creative execution for geographic expansion efforts.

  • Deeply understand the customer and market. Serve as the voice of the customer in brand, marketing and business conversations

  • Identify, build the business case and execute new experiences that align to strategy and deliver on business goals.

  • Partner with team to build the brand strategy for J.P. Morgan as a wealth manager.

  • Inspire and lead teams to deliver against strategy in tight timelines.

  • Stay informed of new, innovative techniques to engage with clients.

  • Measure progress against business and marketing goals.

  • Help organization to promote brand thinking and promote progress against initiatives.

  • Build tools for internal teams.

  • Build and share reports for executive leadership showing the benefit of a strategically-led marketing organization.

  • Manage direct report(s) and work with colleagues to deliver excellent client experiences.


  • Skilled, experienced brand marketer with 10+ years’ experience in brand advertising and brand management.

  • Understanding of market research methodologies, practices and use cases.

  • Expertise in assigning metrics to plans and tactics, tracking and reporting against goals.

  • Proven ability to influence business decision making based on the effective storytelling.

  • Ability to understand the business’ bigger picture and communicate plans and new ideas in a compelling way that is tied to broader goals.

  • Commitment to owning and deeply understanding the customer point of view.

  • Proven track record of executing large-scale and global activation and advertising programs.

  • Must demonstrate a proactive and positive approach to working in businesses during times of change.

  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, roll-up your sleeves work ethic.

  • Experience in successfully managing both employees and agency partners.

  • Masters degree is highly desirable.

  • Experience in financial services, especially wealth management / investing is valued.

  • Highly skilled in written composition required for editing executive presentation material.

  • Exposure to data mining models, structures and theories.

  • Ability to interact effectively and build strong relationships with different business units, team members, and external clients at all levels.
