The Digital Wealth Management Digital team is charged to create a fully integrated, elegant and seamless digital experience across the entire life cycle for both clients and advisors, develop a compelling omni-channel experience that both creates efficiencies for clients and advisors and enhances their relationships. We build the strategic vision and execute programs to bring to life this digital experience which drives 360-degree client engagement. Our organization works closely with the business, both in Global Wealth Management and Chase Wealth Management, with teams aligned to front-office regions, service teams, strategy and solutions teams, marketing and technology. This structure enables us to create solutions that drive revenue, increase advisor efficiency, improve client satisfaction and grow market share.

The Digital Advisory team is a critical component of the Digital Wealth Management program. The team is responsible to launch a new type product offering which the industry widely expects to attract significant assets in the next few years.

The team has responsibility to deliver capabilities that cover the entirety of the client journey, initial education to demonstrate investment benefits, detailed evaluation of the individuals’ investment preferences and needs, guidance towards possible options to invest (from “I want do it myself” to “do it for me”) and actual innovative investment tools needed to finalize and implement the investment option(s) selected. Digital Advisory team seeks motivated, forward thinking individuals with a singular focus to deliver innovative advice and investment platforms. The Product Manager will utilize their business knowledge related to financial services and/or institutions to lead the translation process of business needs into system requirements. They will work extensively with business, product, and IT team members to ensure the implementation of the product vision.

While the Operations, Business, Product and IT partners will be responsible for specific deliverables within their areas of expertise, the Product Manager will provide thought leadership across their work stream scope of within the Digital Advisory program . In addition, they will own the business requirements for the work stream.

The successful Product Manager will exhibit strong client focus, intellectual curiosity, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to prioritize and structure work effectively to achieve a desired outcome within a specified time frame. As such, prior experience with business transformation programs / teams will be helpful.


  • Participate in product roadmap evolution and feasibility determinations

  • Assist in development and maintenance of product portfolios, risk profiles, and related content

  • Lead design sessions with key partners to address critical business, operating model and process questions, to serve as input into business requirements

  • Work with the Partner organizations to ensure viable operational processes and infrastructure

  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and ensure consistency; determine cross impacts; distinguish underlying user needs from user requests

  • Elicit and drive the business requirements process for projects and work orders through the creation, visualization, documentation, translation and management of product requirements

  • Document traceability of requirements to business objectives – ensure that all requirements are all in support of the business case

  • Facilitate the execution of cost/benefit analyses in support of usability decisions during the design phase. (e.g. for major product enhancements)

  • Participate in UAT execution (as coordinated by the Project Manager) to ensure it ties back to the requirements. Report findings back to Project Manager and work with the Product team to determine the severity of any follow-up action items (e.g., defects that cause us to delay release, defects that we can go live w/ etc.)

  • Access data to support requirements when needed or to determine ongoing health or success of a product (e.g., web analytics, Voice of Customer, call center data, error messages, and other business case data elements)

  • Ensure the JPM brand is highlighted in the right way and that all appropriate regulations (inclusive of regulatory oversight and processes) are satisfied

  • Comfortable using content management systems


  • 3+ years work experience in a product management, business analyst or equivalent role

  • Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Strong verbal communication and presentations skills

  • Strong written communication skills – the ability to write clearly with a high level of sophistication and detail

  • Digital product launch and lifecycle management experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives to completion under concurrent, rigorous, and regulatory deadlines in a fast - paced dynamic environment
