Finance and Risk Data Operations (FRDO) is a global center of excellence ensuring a timely, accurate and complete data set for Risk, Finance and Treasury Reporting with best-in-class toolsets. FRDO is part of the broader Treasury/CIO Operations organization.

FRDO provides a one stop shop for monitoring and management of data providing transparency into data completeness and accuracy as well as a single point of contact for data related issues. The Business Manager leads a team responsible for Strategy, Management Reporting, Financials and People Agenda across the global organization. The role will report into the Finance and Risk Data Operations Senior Global Manager and manage a team of Vice Presidents and support staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnership withthe Risk, Finance and CTC Chief Data Office

  • Attendanceof multiple data quality forums to understand data issues identified, impactand priority

  • Representationat Data Management Councils to provide update on status of data issueremediation

  • Submissionof data issues to CTC CDO for logging into DQM

  • Partnership withkey stakeholders inclusive of Line of Business, Technology, Finance,Credit/Finance and Treasury users to determine root cause analysis andrecommendations for solution

  • Facilitationof working groups with key stakeholders to understand E2E process

  • Process mappingand detailed data analytics to determine root cause

  • Programmanagement, tracking status, risks, issues and escalation where required

  • Defining datamanagement strategy for Finance & Risk Data Operations

  • Workingwith technology to define, build and implement data management tool set ie EDGE,IDQ

  • Establishment ofoperating and change management model for prioritization, execution and testingof solutions, in partnership with Finance & Risk Operations

  • Participatein Agile grooming sessions for changes resulting in data issue remediation

  • Definingtest plans, in conjunction with Finance & Risk Operations to validateeffectiveness of change

Lead a team focused on the root cause and remediation of data issues resulting in adjustments, reconciliation variances and / or downstream reporting issues. This would involve the following activities but not limited to

  • Strong analyticaland decision making skills

  • Detailed productknowledge and / or an understanding of the Finance & Risk data architecture

  • Ability to managemultiple priorities and maintain a balance between detailed analysis and macroindicators.

  • Ability tomulti-task and adapt to changing priorities with attention to detail andlogical thought process.

  • Ability toeffectively partner and influence at all levels to achieve objectives.

  • Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal:

  • Proven experiencepreparing presentations/materials to effectively communicate key messages.

  • Ability totranslate detailed information to high-level business themes

  • Bachelor’s degreeor equivalent experience.

  • 5-7 years ofBusiness Management experience.
