ABOUTDATA & PLATFORM ANALYSIS (D&PA)

D&PA sits within the Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analytics function within Corporate Finance. The team are responsible for the data integrity, completeness and accuracy of finance data in various regulatory platforms across multiple locations and lines of businesses including end to end operational activities required for the reporting cycle. The team is also involved in the design, implementation, and oversight of the regulatory platform Axiom. In addition the teams mandate includes determining the appropriate investment in people, processes and technology to improve the accuracy, completeness and consistency for regulatory reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Lead and manage the DelawareData & Platform Analysis (DPA) – Axiom team

  • Carry out 1-2-1, providecareer guidance and interview new hires, as we expand the team.

  • Understand and establisha robust operating model servicing the legal entity controllers in LATAM,schedule owners, preparers and FRI Ops in US.

  • Face off with seniorstakeholders in LATAM and US.

  • Support the global lead,project lead and peers in other countries to promote and establish a highperforming DPA team

  • Establish robust risk andcontrols for all BAU processes

  • Understand the operatingmodel and BAU processes and identify and implement efficiencies wherepossible.

  • Attend working groups andsteering committee meetings to represent Data & Platform Analysis.

Career/Rolemobility: D&PA is at the core of Reg reporting function and facilitates interaction with schedule owners, report owners, Line of Business (LOBs such as Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, Consumer and Community Banking & Asset Management) and technology partners. As one enhances his/her expertise with data it opens up further opportunities to get into project/program management, Chief Data Office, business management and larger management opportunities. Outside of the team there is a direct link to product control functions in each LOB, product owners (SME) or report owner roles in Corporate Finance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College/University degreein Finance or similar field; CA/CFA/CPA/MBA a plus

  • 10+ years of relevantexperience

  • 5+ Years PeopleManagement Experience (Team size 5+)

  • Regulatory reportingbackground

  • Operations experience ismandatory

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Understanding offinancial products/instruments and the trade lifecycle

  • Understanding of ReferenceData (Instruments, Client, Pricing etc.)

  • Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills; able to interact with business partnersindependently

  • Project Management orBusiness Analysis would be an advantage

  • Agile/SCRUM would be anadvantage

  • SQL, XML, VBA would be anadvantage

  • Knowledge of regulatoryapplications will be an advantage (Axiom)

  • Logical thinker withstrong analytical skills

  • Proficient in MS Officeapplications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)

  • Candidate should beflexible with shift timing

  • Fluent in English
