Firmwide Finance Business Architecture:

  • Our processes and systemsassociated with the production and consumption of finance data are managedacross a number of areas, in a variety of ways. This has led to inconsistenciesand inefficiencies that we are addressing as part of our Firmwide Finance BusinessArchitecture (FFBA) multi-year plan.

  • One of the top prioritiesacross Global Finance is to evolve the organization to a more integratedfinance data and reporting strategy – one that is globally consistent andusable for business, finance, risk and regulatory requirements. Partnering with Risk, and Technology, thisstrategy fits into the broader multi-year Finance & Risk Roadmap.

  • Firmwide Finance Business Architecture (FFBA) is responsiblefor delivering large scale infrastructure programs and business process changemanagement events to ensure accurate, complete and consistent data is readilyavailable for both internal financial reporting and external regulatoryreporting purposes, consumed by both LOB stakeholders and corporate groups.

  • The Firmwide Finance Business Architecture (FFBA) team isresponsible for partnering with Risk & Finance business and technologyteams to drive the vision of the Finance and Risk Roadmap and to executeon strategic initiatives across the organization.

As a member of the Business Architecture Program team, you will work closely with Line of Business stakeholders; Consumers across Finance, Risk & Treasury; partner with the Risk and Finance Technology team and the various Program Management teams to drive the Finance vision of the Finance and Risk Roadmap to fruition. Primary responsibilities are to work as part of the Investment Securities Implementation team tasked with delivering the target state model in support of Firmwide Finance, Risk and Liquidity Regulatory Reporting and Analytics. As part of the project team you will have a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Lead thedevelopment of Report implementation requirements, with a focus onOperating Model, leveraging Finance Reporting Infrastructure (FRI)

  • FRI Lead/managea team of 1-2 resources focused on developing requirements, OperatingModel and driving the implementation of the program

  • Lead analysis andstakeholder worksessions (LOBs, operations teams and Finance, Risk andLiquidity reporting teams) required to achieve key end to end operatingmodel deliverables

  • Manage an endto end project plan inclusive of sourcing, requirements, operating model,testing, implementation checklists and stakeholder / technology activities

  • Develop and documentdetailed end to end business process re-engineering activitiesdocumentation such as RACI charts, and process maps/workflows

  • Establish Operational Runbooks,SLAs, change management procedures, operational metrics and reporting andsupport RCSA updates.

  • Present keydocuments, project progress scorecards & lead discussions with diversestakeholder audiences in order to seek agreement on proposed RegulatoryReporting requirement artifacts

  • Maintainstrong relationships with stakeholders in order to influence andfacilitate multiple work streams

  • Contribute toselect testing and implementation deliverables

  • Maintain arobust Regulatory communication and governance plan

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 7+ years of project management experience, especially inrequirements gathering and documentation, process re-engineering and enduser testing

  • Solid understanding of Financial and/or Regulatory reportingprocesses

  • Securities product experience a plus

Skills

  • Excellent ability to quickly learn and assimilate business andtechnical knowledge, and confidently speak about these processes

  • Ability to lead and influence without having positional authority,and communicate effectively at many levels of the organization includingsenior management

  • Proven ability to work across diverse groups, build consensus andexecute the agreed plans
