JPMorgan Chase Firmwide Finance - Business Architecture - Project Manager - Vice President in Newark, Delaware

The team is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst to join the Firmwide Finance Business Architecture (FFBA) team to support CECL (Current Expected Credit Loss) and other regulatory and accounting policy-driven projects. The role is highly visible to senior management and offers the opportunity to work across all JPMorgan Chase’s business lines. A Vice President in this role will work across functional groups, risk areas and LOBs to drive key milestones to completion. The successful candidate will be a strong leader, team player, results driven and self-managing with strong attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Provideleadership in defining and executing the CECL project milestones

  • Workclosely with key stakeholders, including technology to design andimplement platform requirements

  • Chairmeetings and providing direction in business requirement sessions andthroughout the design and implementation process

  • Createand monitor scorecards and milestones

  • Planand drive down work stream tasks to ensure program success

Escalate issues and roadblocks to managers and stakeholders as needed

  • Understanding of CECL/ CCAR/ IFRS 9 and background in regulatory and accounting projects highly desirable

  • 8+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst, with experience in creating scorecards and project plans

  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Bachelor degree required; experience in risk, finance and regulatory a plus

  • Strong critical and creative thinking skills with ability to synthesize complex data sets to develop business insights and translate to practical solutions

  • Strong partnership skills; experience working with and influencing key stakeholders in drive strategic decisions and preparing succinct presentations

  • Ability to perform in a high pressure and fast paced environment

  • Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and delivery-focused individual who is able to work independently

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)
