KYC Solutions is a global Operations function, housed within the Commercial Bank, who provide Project and Production support to existing and new Business Processes that operate on behalf of the lines of business on a utility based arrangement where synergies exist.

KYC Solutions are responsible for the management and delivery of the critical Consent Order initiative known as The Holistic program. This is to enable a holistic view of JPM higher risk customers to be available to the Lines of Business when reviewing KYC information in order to reduce the residual risk associated with the multi-thread of customers across LOBs.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen within the team to lead the project management of the Holistic View Generator (HVG) which is a key component of the end to end Holistic Technology that has been developed by Client Reference Data to support the wider initiative.

Reporting to the Holistic Program Manager, this Project Manager will primarily be focused on successfully transitioning the project management of the HVG from its existing US based team into the KYC Solutions team.

The candidate will play a critical role in structuring transitional and then ongoing activity, covering project governance, business processes, communications, analysis, testing, and prioritization. They will align Holistic Program strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding the HVG, including development of an integrated plan to phase out the use of the HVG over time as the Client Central 2.0 initiative takes over the provision of a single customer view.

The candidate will need to work through others at every level of the organization soliciting views from senior leaders and executives, and supporting business unit managers. The candidate is also expected to provide direct input into the governance and control of the wider Holistic program.


  • Partner with business and project stakeholders, key business users and subject matter experts to understand scope and help to prioritise business requirements across impacted areas.

  • Lead meetings, at the operational and project level, providing continuous feedback on item status; ensure information is shared and issues addressed; always focusing on ensuring work tracks to original expectations.

  • Produce and maintain project and test plans and associated documentation.

  • Manage updates to the HVG, including code deployments, testing, scope prioritisation and stakeholder communications.

  • Functioning as an escalation point to keep all parties aware of overall project impact, facilitating management decisions at the earliest opportunity. Also, recognizing key issues and risks and facilitating teams to solution or escalate to senior management.

  • Supporting business units in the development and execution of their plans for a successful implementation.

  • Participate in workshops and presentations where required.

  • Provide transparency to management and business partners.

  • Actively identify opportunities to improve and streamline the Governance and Control activities and then drive through changes to implement those changes.

  • An excellent grounding in general Project Management and Business Analysis skills are a pre-requisite.

  • An excellent understanding of project requirements, project delivery process, testing success factors, and implementation guidelines.

  • A broad, firm-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.

  • Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.

  • The ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business.

  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.

  • An understanding of the KYC process and associated KYC systems Application Flows would be a distinct advantage.

  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritise work.

  • Result oriented attitude with a track record of high quality deliverables.

  • Strong team building skills – must enjoy working as part of a hardworking and close knit team.

  • A motivated, experienced self-starter approach with an excellent problem solving mind-set - ability to drive a positive action orientated approach to define and broker solutions and resolve conflict across teams.

  • Ability to work across different geographies, cultures, time zones and drive effective teamwork/collaboration to formulate and deliver solutions to stakeholders.

  • Must be efficient in the use of Microsoft Power Point.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, professional certification or equivalent work experience.

  • Must be willing to travel internationally, often at short notice.
