The WM Operations team is comprised of over 800 members, with the main hub located in Newark, DE. WM Ops provides end-to-end support for all aspects of the client experience, working closely with client service, fiduciary, product specialty groups, third party vendors and other internal groups.

About Client Reporting

The Client Reporting Team is comprised of highly dedicated individuals who are responsible for all aspects of the client reporting for Private Banking accounts. Teams include: Statements (Quality & Corrections), Suitability Hub, Regulatory Client Communications, Special Services, Audit Confirmations, Documentation Management and Fiduciary Safekeeping Services. The team interacts with a variety of internal groups including, but not limited to, Client Onboarding, Investors, Bankers, Middle Office, Operations, Client Services and Fiduciary Officers in an effort to assist with client requests, inquiries and/or issues. The Data Remediation Manager will be responsible for ongoing support of data analytics and remediation initiatives in scoping out projects, allocating workload, project presentations, capacity planning, and direct oversight of 5 associates.

Responsibilities

  • Manage/oversee a pipeline of data & remediation requests

  • Establish and manage prioritization process with key business partners to ensure transparency regarding initiative status

  • Manage all aspects of data remediation initiatives including: data analytics, scope evaluation, remediation tasks and status reporting

  • Partner with strategic programs and technology to leverage data pulls/analysis requirements

  • Perform trend analysis for data remediation initiatives to identify root-cause and partner with Operations teams to identify/recommend process/control improvements

  • Investigate opportunities to reduce costs, provide automation, and analyze fluctuations in key metrics

  • Anticipate challenges and implement solutions in order to manage the expectations of the internal business partners for a positive client experience

  • Ensure timely and concise communication with key business partners and senior management

  • Diagnose, communicate and facilitate resolution of key issues and risks

  • Manage Operational Risk within team; assess risks and ensure adequate detective and preventative controls are in place to mitigate risk.

  • Perform and comply with Corporate/AWM vendor management responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Global Information Risk activities (Identity and Access Management;

  • Create training documentation, procedures, presentations and assist with data gathering

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams within changing control/regulatory environment

  • Project management experience

  • A solid understanding of Private Banking products and services is preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of financial products with an understanding of the attributes of investment products, as well as related calculations

  • Advanced Excel Skills – Macros/ VBA

  • B.A. / B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience; Advanced Degree is preferred

  • Operations Manager Series 99 Certification (or equivalent) required or can be obtained within 120 days
