The Pricing Manager will be responsible for Pricing, Data Analytics, and Profit Optimization for the Retail/Indirect Chase Auto portfolio. The Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing pricing frameworks, set pricing strategy leveraging competitive intelligence, pricing analytics, and pricing tests to optimize long-term shareholder value added (SVA) for Auto LOBs. This will also involve developing a best-in-class pricing analytics framework as well as coordination and preparation of pricing recommendations across Retail, Risk, Business, and Operations. The Pricing Manager must also develop strong relationships with clients & partners to develop clear and concise reports of all analysis for discussion with all levels of management within Chase Auto.
Responsible forunderstanding the Auto Financing industry competitive landscape and developingpricing winning strategies to grow Chase Auto Retail market share andprofitability
Partnering with businessto develop pricing for external clients including subvention pricing
Develop a new pricingstrategy based on the latest capital allocation from CCB to optimize Return onEquity and shareholder value factoring standardized and advanced capital
Improve thecommunication of market share and pricing competitive intelligence and developfurther analysis to understand lenders economics and operating model
Supervise the design anddevelopment of a broad range of pricing models.
Develop collaborative& influential relationships with Finance, Product/Pricing, Sales,Operations, Credit, and Data Management teams to improve communication,analytics and refine reporting and actionable recommendations
Take initiative anddemonstrate innovation in the identification and development of new metrics,report design, creation, implementation, reporting processes, and areas ofanalytic focus
B.S. in relevant technical or quantitative fields (e.g., Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Technology and Economics) or relevant experience
5+ year’s relevant experience required
Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills with the ability to decipher large amounts of data and its impact on price, operational and financial disciplines
Strong P&L knowledge and understanding of drivers of profitability
Ability to implement strategic initiatives within pricing framework
Excellent strategic thinking and have the ability to structure analysis and develop sophisticated and common-sense solutions to complex pricing opportunities
Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret analysis and its impact in both operational and financial area
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders
Ability to efficiently compress large amounts of data into short and concise presentations with sound business conclusions
Demonstrated Partnership & Relationship skills
Knowledge of SAS, SQL, MS Office, PowerPoint, etc.
