Position Summary:

This Product Director role, reporting to the Product Executive for Core Acquiring, will own the strategy and execution for Alternative Methods of Payment supported by Merchant Services and offered to our clients. This role will involve defining and maintaining product roadmaps, building and executing commercialization strategies, as well as owning vendor and business development relationships with key global alternative MOPs and third party processing partners (PayPal, AliPay, WeChat Pay, Klarna, plus more traditional grocery and fleet cards, etc.).

This role will be looked to as a thought-leader, driving the conversation about the evolution of the products that enable payment acceptance. Translating the strategic direction into execution, the Product Director will have responsibility for managing the development and maintenance of products and features. The successful candidate will bring a track-record of—and passion for—rolling up their sleeves and helping their team work through the details as needed.

This highly collaborative position requires an individual who has demonstrated product management and ownership skills and a proven history of successful product delivery and team management. The ideal candidate understands that product management is cross-functional and involves business development, strategic thinking, market research, and client interaction across LOBs, product development and controls.

  • Identifiesand pursues root-cause analysis of risk/compliance issues client/customercomplaints

  • Fostersan environment where risk/control issues are escalated, and trends areanticipated and identified

  • Enablestransparency by communicating the impacts of changing market, credit,reputational and/or finance risks and through regular maintenance ofupdates to policies/procedures

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; Advanced degree preferred

· 15years experience managing a product portfolio of technology solutions

· 10years experience in B2B product and payments experience

· Agile experience and expertise preferred

· In-depth understanding of the payments value chain (merchants, brands, acquirers, gateways, vendors, etc.)

· Track record of success managing geographically dispersed teams

· Deep understanding of emerging payments technologies

· Experience building high performing lean teams. Proven ability to attract, retain, motivate and develop employees

  • Open to different pointsof view and constructive feedback

  • Recognized as subjectmatter expert, trusted partner or role model
