Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI) is a Commercial Banking business located in 101 offices across the US and Canada. MMBSI provides credit, cash management, capital markets and corporate finance advisory solutions to corporations, municipalities and not-for-profit entities via our Core Banking or Specialized Industries teams. Core Banking teams generally focus on clients with annual revenues of $20 million to $500 million. Within our Specialized Industries practice, we have experts strategically focused on serving businesses within a variety of industry segments, including, but not limited to: Agribusiness, Government, Healthcare and Technology. The MMBSI Business Transformation ERP SME is a VP position within the JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking team, reporting into the Head of MMBSI Business Transformation. As Banking and ERP lines blur in the middle market space, there are opportunities to provide an improved value proposition to clients by providing more seamless integration between banking and ERP services. The role requires a deep understanding of unmet needs / untapped opportunities in the intersection of banking and ERP, and the definition of a strategic and transformation plan to deliver on the opportunity. The position requires strong collaboration with a diverse set of internal stakeholders and third parties (e.g. ERP and FinTech companies) to design the future state client and employee experience in the middle market banking + ERP space, and the integration, simplification and automation required to deliver the future state. The role entails facilitation of working sessions with key stakeholders, synthesis and documentation of findings and recommendations, driving change and consensus, presenting to senior leaders, and oversight of initiatives to ensure benefit realization.
Understand unmet needs in the intersection of banking + ERP, including major variations by segment / industry
Bring in deep expertise on ERP providers in the middle market space (particularly clients in the $20-100MM revenue range), opportunities to more seamlessly integrate banking + ERP, including API / integration models
Prioritize the sub-set of opportunities that best align with MMBSI’s market position and strategic direction
Develop the target state aspiration for MMBSI in the banking + ERP intersection, including the future client and employee experience
Work with third parties (e.g. ERP and FinTech companies) where necessary to develop joint propositions
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the CB to converge and align on recommendations
Design, detail, guide and oversee initiatives to deliver the aspirational banking + ERP joint value proposition
Communicate regular updates to Commercial Bank Transformation and MMBBSI stakeholders, including presentations, executive summaries, prototypes, MVPs and benefit progress
Prior experience at a leading ERP provider (e.g. Netsuite, Quickbooks, Xero) or an ancillary provider in the space (e.g. FinTech, Consulting, System Integration) in a function like Strategy, Product Management, Partnerships
Expertise and experience with middle market clients (particularly in the $20-100MM revenue range) in business accounting software, SCM, ERP systems, API / integration models, multi-party partnerships and data sharing agreements
6+ years of proven experience designing and delivering complex initiatives at scale, managing partnerships, collaborating with multiple teams / functions, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related Master’s Degree is a plus
