JPMorgan Chase Corporate - Credit Risk – Wholesale Credit Transformation - Associate in Plano, Texas

Wholesale Credit Transformation is a newly created organization spanning across CCB, CB, and CIB. The transformation team is focused on shaping a client centric, end-to-end Wholesale Credit experience, while driving consistency, speed, efficiency across risk management processes.

The Wholesale Credit Transformation organization is a motivated, forward thinking team comprised of high-talent individuals with a singular focus of delivering innovative solutions. The position will work extensively with business, risk, and technology teams across all Lines of Business to ensure the implementation of the enhancements fulfill the firm-wide vision.


This role will be part of the Wholesale Credit Risk Transformation - Innovations team, working closely with business, risk, technology partners to solve critical problems, leveraging innovative process and policy changes, emerging technologies such as Robotics, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and other technologies and opportunities detected as part of the team’s surveillance. In particular, the role will focus on strategic process improvement and analytics that enhance the current End-to-End credit risk process across all of Wholesale (from Business Banking, Commercial Banking, through Investment Banking).

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

  • Leverage structured/unstructured data from internal and external data sources to deploy Machine Learning algorithms (With support and partnership of technology team members)

  • Include the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools within Wholesale Credit Risk to improve productivity and efficiencies within Risk and Operational processes

  • Understand the latest developments within AI/ML and application within Wholesale Credit Risk


  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Risk, Business Operations or Business Process Improvement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering or equivalent quantitative discipline.

  • Aptitude for grasping new technical concepts involving Data science and programming.

  • Self-starter; with the ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required

  • An outstanding ability to apply quantitative analytical approaches and work well in cross-functional teams

  • Ability to identify abnormalities based on review of structured and unstructured data
