This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems. Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter. The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.
15+ years’ experience in development of scalable enterprise applications using J2EE, Scala or Python, and Micro Services.
Expert level knowledge with Hadoop, Enterprise Java development, Spark, NoSql data platforms (Cassandra, HBase), Messaging (Kafka), Stream processing (NiFi, Storm, Spark Streaming etc), and Spring Framework/Springboot.
5+ years’ experience as Application manager/data manager responsible for managing team as technical lead for development, delivery and support of ETL and data centric projects
3+ years leading and mentoring Agile teams, implementing professional software engineering practices and experience in an implementing automated CI/CD environment leveraging DevOps best practices
Credit Card/Payments industry Knowledge
Experience in building end-to-end solution to migrate EDW on relational databases to modern data architecture leveraging Big data technologies
Skilled in building the high performance team. Proven leadership skills to attract, mentor and retain top IT talent and creating an environment that fosters excellence, collaboration and teamwork
Ability to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to senior management effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present solutions to Clients.
