The Digital Operational Readiness & Planning (OR&P) Director is responsible for the change success of the Digital organization which supports delivering operational technology services as well as infrastructure administration and support. The OR&P team ensures the seamless execution of change across the product stack, implements PTO, ensuring non-functional requirements are implemented prior to deployment of the production change and enables effective knowledge transfer from developers to support teams. Equally important, the OR&P Director is responsible for the Production Product Flow Owner (PPFO) function which advocates on behalf of the customer to drive operability and stability of the product as it is currently used in production and in the product roadmap, including the end to end customer experience for the business flow or channel. Lastly the OR&P Director is responsible for Operation Improvements, driving hygiene compliance to prevent vulnerabilities, facilitate automation, and prevent incidents. The OR&P Director is expected to work side-by-side with their Application Development counterparts, Production Management support organizations, Infrastructure and business interfacing groups. The OR&P Director is responsible for the following:
Lead change governance meetings
Review and approve ITSMs.
Preapproved Change (PDPA) governance
ITSM Data Operations & Administration - Hierarchymanagement; Data Administration (approver & activator groups;subscriptions; etc.) Access authority; Template review.
AirTraffic Control/Collision Analysis
Major Event Planning
Direct – Infrastructure and Application Softwarechanges
Indirect – External LOB’s /Vendor changes, incl PLMand certificates.
ProcessMgmt & Enhancement.
Collaboration with the Change RCSA process owner onenhancements
Eliminate Approval Process Breaks
Problemmanagement of change.
Failed/Unauth Change Evaluation.
Failed change RCA’s and thematics to preventreoccurrence.
PTOcompliance, review and approvals.
Define non-functional requirements.
“Shift Left”…incorporate the PTO earlier in the buildprocess.
Improve the PTO process and artifacts.
Review PTO’s prior to project implementations.
Drive Incorporation of Non-Functional RequirementsUser Stories into Tribes
ProductionProduct Flow Owner
Drive production stability of the end to end product.
Strong business process alignment…sit withs,partnership meetings, etc.
Knowledge Management (End to end bus process flows).
Change – review PTO’s for business impact prior toimplementation.

Manage breaks –failed backups; Security violations;Hardware , Software, and Config breaks.
SSL Certificate policy governance
SLA Establishment, Maintenance, Reporting and Compliance
Backup retention policies
Drive solutions to prevent incidents and breaksresulting from changes, across organizational boundaries
Reduce the use of privileged access id’s and ensurethey are properly controlled
Shift Left – Implement strategies in lowerenvironments to prevent production incidents
Collegedegree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience
Minimum of10 years of IT experience and related management experience
Seniorapplication development and/or production support experience
Experiencedleading meetings with business partners to communicate impacting events;share information to potentially non-technical or limited technicalknowledge groups of people
Highaptitude for problem resolution, collaboration, influencing skills,holistic forward thinking and ability to manage a global team whilstbreaking down organizational boundaries.
