Our Consumer & Community Banking Group depends on innovators like you to serve nearly 66 million consumers and over 4 million small businesses, municipalities and non-profits. The Digital & Emerging Payments Operational Readiness & Planning Improvements Lead is focused on driving the delivery of an “Always On” customer experience, specifically addressing facets that could lead to a production outage.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving strategic solutions to prevent incidents and breaks resulting from changes, across organizational boundaries

  • Reducing manual effort within the end to end deployment process

  • Remediating hygiene breaks and prevent reoccurrence

  • Driving down the use of privileged access id’s and ensuring they are properly controlled

  • Implement strategic solutions for accurate Inventory and Asset management

Hands-on experience in strategic transformation, problem solving, process re-engineering and analytical initiatives are critical to the role. Strong technical background – application support experience is preferred. Ability to establish strong partnership and influence across lines of business with the business, application teams, production support teams and external vendors (where applicable) is key.


  • Requires a combination of technical background and business acumen.

  • Minimum 3 years of Application Development and/or Production Management work experience

  • Understands Production Management roles, responsibilities, nomenclature, tools, processes and procedures around incident, problem, change, hygiene, capacity , monitoring, and documentation

  • Highly collaborative – Strong experience collaborating with and influencing cross functional teams on processes, procedures, culture, tools, etc. Strong partnership skills, builds relationships, understands how to find common ground to deliver on objectives
