The Executive Director of Learning and Development (L&D) for Chase Wealth Management (CWM) Operations is responsible for setting a vision, strategy and curriculum to support our new and existing team members throughout their careers. This role will partner across our CCB and AWM organizations, and directly with our CWM Ops leadership team, to ensure we define, set, and implement strategies that support our business priorities and position our employees to deliver an experience that is customer-obsessed.
Main Areas Of Responsibilities
•Leads research, design and implementation of overall learning approaches and programs responsible for driving and implementing a culture of continuous learning and improvement with adult learning curriculums.
•Develops and maintains strong partnerships with our internal clients to ensure the design of aligned, scalable and integrated solutions.
•Ensure our Contact Center staffing is always licensed and prepared based on the demands of the business.
•Oversees the construction of a learning portfolio that leverages our Ladder Up! Core Operating Principals and a passion for Making Business Easier with a focus on creating ‘real’ and ‘curated’ learning programs for scale and customizing efforts according to talent segments
•Develops curriculum to help ensure Managers have the skills they need to develop their teams.
•Aligns with workforce planning to anticipate changing learning needs and makes smart learning investments.
•Creates communications, marketing, stakeholder socialization and progress reporting materials.
•Leads a team of talented facilitators and developers to execute the strategy across five locations.
•Interacts with our business leaders and vendors (as appropriate) across the organization.
•Builds strong relationships with leaders in every part of our business; manages stakeholders closely.
•Presents to business leaders on project progress; ensures stakeholder alignment.
•Minimum 10 years of Learning & Development, Talent Management or related Human Resources experience required. Strong business acumen, solid project management skills, and results orientation are all preferred qualifications for this role.
•Knowledge of the investment and or banking business.
•Strong understanding and working knowledge of adult learning methodologies to lead and manage the L&D content development process including intake, design process, prioritization, capacity planning and post mortem reviews.
•Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders to identify long and short-term plans to evaluate, improve and enhance the L&D content development process.
•Direct the development, implementation and management of the L&D content development standards, policies and templates.
•Lead the development, implementation, and management of the L&D quality review standards, process and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programs. Manage departmental budget and make recommendations for future budgetary needs.
•Direct and manage the L&D project prioritization and planning process to ensure projects are delivered on time and exceed stakeholder expectations.
•Benchmark L&D best practices and emerging trends to make recommendations on course design, development, tools and technologies.
•Determine appropriate blend of adult learning methodologies, including in-person and web-based training required to create and deliver best-in-class learning programs.
•Manage, improve and optimize L&D needs for CWM Ops; research and recommend technology enhancements as needed.
•Perform all other job related duties as requested.
