The Benefits/Pension Administration Associate is responsible for day to day administration activities required to support Pension Plan participants and beneficiaries. Work includes processing pension payroll, answering pension related questions, processing and updating all inbound documentation as it relates to Pension payroll. Handling the distribution of various fulfilment items and products. Updating employee PeopleSoft records as needed. Updating payroll records as needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Process pension payroll

  • Participate in cash plan valuation activities

  • Administer various defined benefit plans

  • Perform and review benefit calculations

  • Research and respond to complex inquiries including escalations

  • Assist with set-up and testing of internal record keeping system

  • Perform ad hoc reporting

  • Participate in project work


  • Final Pay Defined Benefit Administration experience or equivalent

  • Experience running pension payroll

  • Experience with defined benefit cash plan administration

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong customer service, relationship building skills

  • Ability to interact with business partners of all levels

  • Strong technical acumen, ideally system testing knowledge

  • Demonstrated experience with manipulating data in an integrated systems environment

  • Proven experience running business reports

  • Demonstrated experience participating in or leading large scale projects

  • Ability to work in a time sensitive work environment, adhere to deadlines

  • Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
