We are sourcing a specific role within CCB which would include end to end accountability of the infrastructure as part of the Plan & Build space, resource management, budgeting, and resolving issues and risks.

Role Description

  • End to end ownership and accountability of the infrastructure to include proactive analysis, understanding applications performance, versioning, components and growth trajectory

  • Full life cycle management to include Tech Refresh/End of Life planning, Cyber remediation, resiliency and TCO consideration

  • Excellent Partnership and Leadership skills with all Technology and Business teams

  • Budget, forecast and financial management of the assigned Portfolio

  • Direct and indirect coaching/managing of less experienced team members

  • Ensure infrastructure is completed in accordance with all Risk, Controls, Architecture and firm-wide guidelines, including the Rules of the Road

  • Establish and manage priorities

  • Partnership / Problem Resolution : Leverages existing and build new excellent working relationships with each of the teams involved and work through any problems or issues that arise through these partnerships. Comfortable with appropriate level escalations.

  • Risk Management : Detailed understanding of the risk concerns/requirements, ability to anticipate risks before they becoming a concern and implement automated controls as appropriate.

  • Financials / Budgets: Manages direct and indirect expenditures as appropriate. Fully competent in the Chase/CCB systems utilized (i.e., iFET)

  • Organizational Agility: Understands organizational structure, experienced with influencing entry level managers through the most senior level leaders.

  • Communications: Utilizes the appropriate communication methods and channels based on the topic, audience and team(s) involved. Full utilization of the “Answer First” communication style.

  • Adherence and Champion Rules of the Road: Demonstrate adherence and champion the rules of the road to each interaction by setting the example for all the teams involved.

  • Ambiguity: Demonstrate leadership by working through ambiguity. Utilizing the opportunity to identify opportunities for improvement (i.e., improve documentation and processes)

  • Decision-Making: Courage to make decisions when situations are not clear while also utilizing partnerships mentioned prior.

This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems. Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter. The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.

Qualifications

Desired Technical and Proficient Skills

  • 7+ years in infrastructure position or role where involved in infrastructure implementations

  • Knowledge of distributed Compute and Storage design

  • Knowledge of application deployment lifecycle

  • Knowledge of database products and services (Oracle, SQL)

  • Knowledge of cloud based technologies

  • Resource Scheduling/Management

  • Risk and Issue Management

  • Adherence to Standard Project Lifecycle

  • Preference for PMP training or similar experience with project management

  • Infrastructure ordering systems process and required approvals (e.g., iFET)

  • Budget / Financial Management to include total cost of ownership/cost reduction experience

  • Experience with HA/SR design principles

  • Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies

  • Exposure and technical understanding of a broad range of cloud / virtualization technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google cloud or other platforms
