The CIB Technology Vendor Management team supports the CIO and corresponding chief business technologists of the CIB business. The team is responsible for reviewing all aspects of the global technology organization in an effort to develop analysis and provide insight on expenses, resourcing, vendors, technology programs and balance sheet in order to provide senior management with meaningful recommendations to increase profitability and efficiency.

Key areas of focus will include the development, oversight and optimization of data analytics and reporting in our centralized tool (CMDB) relating to vendor data attributes. Examples include: contract and invoice tracking and processing, resource tracking and governance as well as adherence metrics surrounding key vendor SLAs). In addition to supporting day to day operations, this person will also be responsible for driving strategy and requirements around automation of day to day tasks. This role will interact and develop relationships with key senior vendor management leads, finance and business management and controllers to ensure data is kept accurate and up to date and requests are processed in a timely manner.

  • Lead a team of 5-7 functional/ technical people to support day to day operations

  • Understand and drive all reporting for 3rd Party vendor metrics (standard and adhoc)

  • Central coordination across all CIB finance and business management (F&BM) teams, controllers and LOB specific lead Vendor Management representatives

  • Key goals to standardize, automate and optimize reporting and day to day operations

  • Identify opportunities and recommend improvements for increased reporting and process efficiencies

  • Building out Reporting suite capabilities to more efficiently enable end user push button reporting

  • Understanding and integrating core data systems within the CMDB to provide holistic reporting

  • Central point of Invoice / Payments management and processing for all of CIB across all vendors. This includes invoice and payment tracking as well as setting monthly accruals for resources and software/hardware payments

  • Special projects and ad-hoc analyses as requested coming out of Technical development teams, F&BM and vendor management leads

  • Identifying and driving key process improvement opportunities to support efficiency and productivity

  • Advanced systems skills required including knowledge of SharePoint, MS Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Arriba (ePurchase), Concur, Beeline, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, Qlikview, Crystal Reporting and Clarity a plus.
