JPMorgan Chase Consumer and Community Bank Finance, Commerce Solutions Planning and Analysis, Associate in Wilmington, Delaware

The Planning and Analysis (P&A) Associate will be a member of the Chase Merchant Services (CMS) Planning and Analysis team. CMS P&A team is primarily responsible for managing the forecasts, creating a mid-year and an annual plan, and assisting the earnings process for press releases. The CMS P&A team strives to provide strategic and actionable insights through various analytical projects. In addition, the team plays a role in providing inputs for presentations for Investor Day, Conferences/ Roundtables.

P&A Associate:

  • Support the monthly/annual financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for CMS Revenue

  • Conduct financial results and revenue variance analysis to help CFO prepare for the management meetings and monthly corporate business reviews

  • Develop and enhance analytics to provide transparency and insights into the complex merchant line of business

  • Assist preparation of internal and external presentations for CMS President

  • Support the preparation of internal and external presentations and supporting materials for the President

  • Coordinate CCAR/ICCAP deliverables

  • Update, analysis, and present Channel P&L reporting to internal business partners

  • Proactively analyze trends, research issues and respond to data requests

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and forecasting

  • Working closely with other LOB P&A teams and the CCB P&A team

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or other related majors

  • 3+ years in Finance/Accounting, management consulting or other financial/analytic roles

  • Solid grasp on finance/accounting concepts

  • Critical thinking and analytic skills; excellent problem solving skills; proactive and a results-oriented mindset

  • Ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts in a fast- paced, dynamic environment

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;

  • Strong personal integrity and work ethic; has the courage to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint/PitchPro, Essbase and SQL (preferred)
