This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies

  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals

  • Proficiency in the use of skills tools, staying current with skills, participating in multiple forums

  • Experience with Agile and can work with at least one of the common frameworks is highly desired.

  • Ability to analyze vulnerabilities, threats, designs, procedures and architectural design, producing reports and sharing intelligence.

  • The Vulnerability Management team is responsible for assessing, discovering, and driving remediation of security vulnerabilities across the firm. This position is focused on the analysis of firm wide security breaks to detect systemic issues, identification of automated remediation opportunities and liaison with relevant engineering teams across the firm to ensure new technologies are compliant from a Vulnerability Management perspective. This position will also help identify and design vulnerability management best practices for Cloud, Application Security, Mobile and Big Data.

  • Systems Administrator (SA) level of technical ability on at least one platform (Windows, UNIX) OR Database Administrator (DBA) level of technical ability on one of (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase) OR SME experience in Application Security, Big Data, Cloud

  • Solid and demonstrable comprehension of Information Security including vulnerability & compliance tools and processes, associated vulnerabilities, awareness of emerging threats and attacks mapped to effective controls and/or Mitigation solutions. Solid and demonstrable comprehension of end to end Vulnerability Management to include industry standards such as CVE, CPE, CVSS

  • Understanding of security / vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Qualys, Symantec ESM/CCS) and interpretation / analysis of results from these tools - experience with manipulating large datasets and basic statistical analysis
