JPMorgan Chase Product Lead - Operational Assessments in Wilmington, Delaware

As an experienced professional in our Cybersecurity organization, you’re equally committed to watching over our data today, as well as finding innovative new ways to protect it in the future. To do that, you’ll help lead a highly motivated team laser-focused on analyzing, designing, developing and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries and strengthen our operations. You’ll use your leadership skills to give guidance, best practice advice and support across all our business and technology groups. You’ll take the lead on incident response, risk reviews and vulnerability assessments, identifying threats, all of which ladder up to driving and selecting cost-effective solutions. You’ll deploy best practices, new policies, and emerging trends to strengthen our strategic roadmap. You’ll keep management, executive directors, managing directors and stakeholders in the loop, as well as managing people and budgets. Job Description:

The Cybersecurity & Technology Controls Product Management Team is tasked with developing and driving a strategic vision for each consumable product, with shared accountability across disciplines, and coordination of activities across the entire IT lifecycle. The team creates a maintainable risk-based approach to assess effectiveness, improve controls, and strengthen the firm’s operating environment.

In this role as Product Lead, you will serve as a key member of the Product Management Team responsible for managing the end-to-end activities of a specific product and/or sub-product, including roadmap development, metrics and reporting, stakeholder engagement and outreach, and overall budget/financials. You will also participate in the development, implementation and coordination of the product strategy, including the product's overall consumption and stakeholder feedback process.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/MS degree in Cyberspace, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Networking, and/or Information Systems or equivalent experience

  • Excellent command of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies a plus.

  • Noted cybersecurity expert, keeping technical skills current and participating in multiple forums

  • Expertise in Agile and can work with at least one of the common frameworks

  • Ability to identify network attacks and systemic security issues as they relate to threats and vulnerabilities, with focus on recommendations for enhancements or remediation.

  • Build the Product Roadmap – Develop and maintain a multi-year, risk-based product roadmap that clearly represents key deliverables, dependencies & benefits. Ensure the accepted product backlog is in place, visible, and managed as capacity and capability is available. Participate in annual and periodic planning review of roadmap initiatives to ensure efforts remain on target.

  • Implement New Capabilities: Work closely with development teams, architects, and product owners to drive key Product roadmap efforts forward toward completion – leveraging Agile development principles for guiding, reporting, and prioritizing work efforts.

  • Address Audit & Regulatory Requirements – Align Audit & Regulatory Commitments to Products: Ensure all commitments are mapped to Product book of work and prioritized.

  • Establish Effective Risk Management & Controls – Ensure product controls are aligned to and assessed against the firms Threat Scenarios and Risk Framework to model a comprehensive view of control gaps and effectiveness.

  • Engage the Business – Engage with executive stakeholders across key Lines of Business to identify needs and map to product roadmap

  • 5-10 year’s experience in product management, large-scale project management, or similar roles

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree preferred in Cyber security, Technology, or other related fields

  • In-depth knowledge of cyber security and technology controls domains as well as product delivery

  • Strong knowledge and experience leveraging Agile development methods to drive complex engagements end-to-end

  • Strong knowledge and experience managing third-party vendor relationships, sourcing processes, and third party risk & controls assessments

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to write effectively and communicate directly with senior leadership audiences

  • Ability to develop and analyze product architectures in collaboration with cross-functional business and technology teams

  • Ability to analyze cyber threat landscape and control effectiveness, developing programs to enhance overarching product risk posture

  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
